Why a Referendum?

How our tax money will be used

Hire One Additional Crew

Based at the South station, which would have the added benefit of increasing response time South of the tracks when there is a train in the crossing.

Provide the Equipment and Tools They Need

Fund the truck & tool replacement schedule. Right now there is no money saved for the purchase of new trucks and deferred maintenance, and now trucks and equipment break down weekly. Because they don’t have working spares, when trucks break down we residents have to rely on our neighbors to respond—and our response times go up.
